QuiltCon - Part 1

Eighteen quilters from the Central Florida Modern Quilt Guild attended QuiltCon in Nashville, February 21-24.

Based on initial estimates, the first three days of QuiltCon in Nashville saw more attendees (10,000) than the entire four days of 2018 QuiltCon in Pasadena (7,700)!

To see the MQG's photos of the award-winning quilts, please go here.

Many of us are glad we were able to attend (that's pretty much an understatement)! We'll be "downloading" our experiences at the Monday, March 4 meeting. PLEASE NOTE THE MEETING DATE CHANGE. If you attended QuiltCon, please bring to the meeting your impressions and experiences to share with others.

We were thrilled to see "All Stacked Up and No Where to Go" displayed among hundreds of beautiful Charity Challenge Quilts.

Remember... The MQG suggested the color palette, and the theme was "small piecing."

Here's a look at only a few of the charity quilts hung at the show. They were displayed outside the quilt display and vendor hall, and inside the quilt display and vendor hall around the perimeter.

Some of them are incredible!

More QuiltCon pictures to come!
