What Makes a Quilt Modern?
That's the theme of our special non-judged, exhibit-only display at World Quilt Florida, January 18-20, 2018.
We need large quilts! We need small quilts!
We need quilts with a variety of modern aesthetics!
18 more quilts are needed!
Choose two of your modern quilts.
Photograph each one.
Have someone take a picture of you - head and shoulders only.
Then, complete our Central Florida MQG online submission form.
The link to our chapter's submission form appeared in emails from President Karen on September 5 and October 4. Use that link only, please!
Do not submit directly to World Quilt Florida or the Mancuso Quilt Show. You'll need to enter:
- the dimensions of each quilt
- a written description of each quilt
- a flat-shot photograph of the entire quilt (binding to binding)
- a photograph of yourself (head and shoulders only, please)
Then, check the boxes to choose all the characteristics of your modern quilt.
Once the information is received, members of our own Central Florida MQG World Quilt Florida prep team, led by Beth, will take a look to see which quilts fit into which category.
