Two Announcements

We need your quilt for "What Makes a Quilt Modern?" at World Quilt Florida (January 19-21, 2018).

The submission deadline is Wednesday, November 1.

This is a unique opportunity for our chapter to showcase the wonderful modern quilts we have seen during more than two years of show-and-tell. Let's share with quilt show attendees all the talent in our chapter, and thereby educate and encourage others to also "make modern."

More than 40 of our Central Florida Modern Quilt Guild members have not entered a quilt! If this is you, please consider making a submission. It will not be judged.

Quilts for our Central Florida Modern Quilt Guild display can be turned in during our regular Monday, January 8, 2018 chapter meeting. Or, can be given to one of our own World Quilt Florida Committee members by January 15.

Don't delay! Submit your quilt now!

Thursday, November 2
From 10 am to noon our Executive Committee will meet at Panera Bread, Sumter Landing, in The Villages. We'll be doing lots of planning for 2018. All members are welcome!
